Damco Solutions is seeking a SharePoint Developer to assist in migrating large volumes of legacy files from Shared Drives to SharePoint Online. The role involves planning and executing migration strategies, ensuring data integrity, and developing modern SharePoint solutions within Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute migration of legacy files from Shared Drives to SharePoint Online

Use tools like ShareGate, AvePoint, or Metalogix for migration

Ensure proper metadata tagging, content organization, and retention policies

Validate migrated content for accuracy, permissions, and compliance

Build modern SharePoint solutions using SPFx, React/TypeScript, PnP libraries, CSOM/REST, and Graph API

Configure hubs, sites, lists/libraries, content types, metadata, and search experiences

Design workflows with Power Automate and/or Nintex; build Power Apps for forms and business processes

Integrate SharePoint with external systems (APIs, Azure Functions, web services)

Apply best practices for permissions, site provisioning, DLP, and retention

Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain existing solutions

Prepare documentation for migration plans, solution designs, and user guides
