11+ years expConfidential company is seeking a Structures Installation Mechanic to work on manufacturing quality parts and assemblies. The role involves manual assembly operations, using precision measuring instruments, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications.

Responsibilities
Work with engineering requirements, work orders, prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal and electronic information to manufacture to quality requirements, parts and assemblies
Setup and perform all manual assembly operations and related machine functions required to accomplish assignments
Use precision measuring instruments required to accomplish tasks
Assemble and mate structural parts and assemblies by drilling, route, ream, countersink, spot face, counterbore and installing fasteners utilizing hand-powered tools
Qualified candidate will need to successfully pass a skills demonstration
Utilize tooling in the assembly of components into sub-assemblies or end items
Verify work performed is per work instructions and meets process and/or engineering specification. Identify discrepancies found per applicable procedure
Ensure equipment and tool certification occurs per procedure
Perform work within allotted schedules
Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting employees at all classification levels
Qualification
Required
11+ years experience in a related field
Ability to work with engineering requirements, work orders, prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal and electronic information
Experience in manual assembly operations and related machine functions
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments
Ability to assemble and mate structural parts and assemblies using hand-powered tools
Successful completion of a skills demonstration
Experience in utilizing tooling in the assembly of components into sub-assemblies or end items
Ability to verify work performed is per work instructions and meets process and/or engineering specifications
Ability to identify discrepancies found per applicable procedure
Knowledge of equipment and tool certification procedures
Ability to perform work within allotted schedules
Experience in supporting the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training and assisting employees at all classification levels
