They are seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to oversee the quality and development of North American suppliers, ensuring alignment with company standards and supporting supplier development through training and technical guidance.

Responsibilities
Oversee quality and development of North American suppliers across stamped, bent, welded, machined, and painted components, including part approval and supplier audits
Support supplier development and provide training on PALFINGER products, processes, and procedures to ensure alignment with company standards
Serve as a technical resource for suppliers and PALFINGER facilities, offering guidance, troubleshooting, and product reviews
Monitor and resolve supplier claims (NCRs) and provide input on quality strategy to the Procurement team
Collaborate in cross-functional teams, support cost-saving initiatives, and travel to suppliers or PALFINGER facilities as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
2–3 years of hands-on technical experience in industrial manufacturing processes
Knowledge and experience with Quality Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA)
Auditing experience
Root cause/corrective action experience
Supplier or customer interactions experience
ISO 9001:2015 experience is a plus
Proficient in MS Office
Ability to manage workload
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to handle conflicts professionally
Ability to travel frequently (50–75%, including internationally)
Preferred
SAP knowledge preferred
Fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish) is advantageous
