Responsibilities
Define and contribute to the long-term technical direction for the firm's front-end systems
Design and develop performant trading and risk management interfaces using modern web technologies such as React, TypeScript, Redux, Jest, and Webpack
Collaborate closely with traders, quantitative researchers, and backend engineers to deliver new tools and improve existing platforms
Work with security and risk teams to ensure applications are both safe and trustworthy
Mentor junior developers, promoting coding standards and best practices
Build internal tools that streamline workflows in areas like data analysis and risk management
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
5+ years of experience developing and deploying front-end applications with modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred)
Professional experience within a financial trading firm, hedge fund, or similar market-focused organization
Proven ability to ship products end-to-end, from design through deployment
Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with end users to understand needs and deliver solutions
Up-to-date knowledge of modern front-end practices, including performance optimization, usability, and security
Commitment to writing clean, well-tested, maintainable code
