Responsibilities
Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices as needed to obtain optimum views of specified area of body requested by Physician
Must be capable of completing all routine diagnostic procedures
Moves radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment into specified position and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance
Operates film processing equipment
Operates mobile radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment in operating room emergency room or at patient's bedside
Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
Ability to prioritize and organize daily work flow
Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
Basic computer skills
Qualification
Required
2+ years current CT - XRay Tech experience in a hospital setting
MUST be proficient/highly experience with the following; Fluoroscopy, Digital Radiography, Portables, & OR c-arm
MUST have experience with ALL ages groups
NH MIRT TEMP EASILY OBTAINED WITH EQUIVALENT STATE LICENSE FOR CT/XRAY
ARRT certification
BLS certification
New Hampshire state license (Compact Allowed: True)
