Responsibilities

Architect and design scalable, secure, and highly available database solutions on AWS

Design and architect AWS cloud solutions aligned with business and technical requirements

Evaluate existing database environments and recommend modernization strategies using AWS services

Good hands-on Knowledge on AWS services including S3, RDS, EC2, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail

Implement best practices for database performance, security, backup, and disaster recovery

Collaborate with application teams, DevOps, and cloud engineers to ensure seamless integration

Provide guidance on cloud best practices, automation, and DevOps integration

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior database engineers and architects

Review documentation for database architecture, migration plans, and operational procedures

Understand customer needs and provide accurate, timely, and effective solutions
