Responsibilities
Prepare or assist in preparing simple to complex tax returns for individuals or businesses (Federal and State)
Review of financial records such as income statements and documentation of expenditures
Interview clients to verify or obtain personal information regarding potential deductions, grants, or allowances
Accurately relay client information to case workers
Professionally handle communication from clients and taxing authorities
Transition files to different teams with clear and concise directions for overall case closure and client retention
Qualification
Required
No less than 5 years of hands-on professional experience as a Tax Preparer
Documented experience with Business Returns, Trust Returns, Individual / Temp 40 Returns
Ability to maintain a calm, positive, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to grow, learn, and adapt to numerous demands and changes
