Responsibilities

Support of Existing and New Product and Process to our MSO (Multi Shop Organizations) – including NPI introductions, trainings, continuous improvement, and other application engineering activities
Showcasing 3M products and process solutions and how they can increase profitability for body shop customers
Hands-on product demonstrations for small and large groups (internal and external training)
Collaborating with product development teams, channel partners and business teams to provide practical solutions to our customers and be the voice of the customer in all situations
Creating and implementing customer facing technical collateral and training content
Supporting and troubleshooting with sales professionals & end-users involving existing products and new product introductions
Testing & benchmarking the competitive landscape and bringing the voice of our customers to the lab and business

Qualification

Bachelor's degreeAutomotive calibrationApplication engineeringAdvanced computer skillsCollision repair experienceDemonstration techniquesCommunication skillsOrganizational skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in a science, engineering, or business discipline from an accredited university
At least 3+ years of experience serving industrial markets such as collision repair, paint industry, manufacturing, OEM, or insurance industry
Previous hardware / software experience with automotive calibration & diagnostic equipment
Previous experience in application engineering, technical service, technical training and/or technical sales
Advanced computer skills (MS Office etc.)
Current, valid driver's license is required

Preferred

5+ years of experience in the collision repair industry
Excellent communication & organizational skills (written, verbal, listening and presentation)
Ability to efficiently analyse, problem solve and implement solutions
Possess strong & effective "hands-on" demonstration techniques
