Abacus Service Corporation is seeking a Programmer - Advanced for the State of South Carolina. The contractor will develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to enhance fiscal-year calculations and reporting for public health services, while also supporting backend systems and documentation efforts.

Responsibilities

Perform analysis, design, code, testing, documentation, implementation, modification, and upgrade of agency computer systems supporting health services

Integration and monitoring of supporting backend system processes and solutions, documentation, and remediating and solving customer issues

Focus on supporting the public health infrastructure initiatives

Support agency-wide PowerBI initiatives by mentoring junior developers and developing advanced data visualization products

Develop an intangible asset tracking dashboard for program area directors

Create a data model for projects and develop KPIs and charts for fiscal-year calculations and expenditure rollups

Create a monthly snapshot of the architecture with workflow diagrams, backend schemas, and operational dashboard enhancements as requested by agency leadership

Work in a team environment to implement, maintain and provide technical support for specific applications including tableau and power bi

Communicate and collaborate with other data analysts, systems integrations staff and program areas to ensure appropriate visualization of data

Develop and oversee dynamic dashboard reporting and underlying data connections for select health information systems and programs

Prepare and maintain system documentation for applications supported

Provide appropriate administrative documentation/project communication

Other duties as assigned
