Responsibilities
Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care in Labor & Delivery, Antepartum, and Mother-Baby units
Participate in Team Birth and use huddles to communicate care plans with families and the birthing team
Assess and manage high-risk perinatal patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
Provide triage for OB patients and manage patient flow safely and efficiently
Perform emergency interventions as required, including neonatal resuscitation
Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to regulatory and hospital standards
Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients, families, and staff
Participate in continuous professional development and emergency simulation drills
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Washington Registered Nurse (RN) License upon hire
National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
National Provider NRP – American Academy of Pediatrics
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
Preferred
National certification in obstetric, labor & delivery, or postpartum nursing specialty
