Datum Technologies Group is seeking an Analog/Mixed-Signal (AMS) CAD Engineer to support their IC design teams. The role involves enhancing automation and verification flows through CAD engineering expertise and proficiency in design tools.

Responsibilities

Support IC design teams in PDK administration, layout design support, verification flow support, and scripting development
Administer CAD/EDA environments for analog and digital design teams
Support design flows from EDA vendors, including Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor, Keysight, and Ansys
Develop scripts to automate design flows using Python
Oversee physical verification tools and decks (DRC, LVS, Extraction, EM/IR, ESD, etc.), including custom modifications
Develop and maintain infrastructure for custom PDK development (custom pcells, models, DRC, LVS, etc.)
Install and track foundry PDKs, including creating automated regression testing
Assist the infrastructure team to ensure computing resources are available and performant

Required

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
4+ years of experience in CAD engineering
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python
Strong experience with industry-standard design software, including: Cadence Virtuoso, Cadence/Calibre DRC and LVS tools
Experience supporting design teams with analog and digital design flows
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with remote teams
Programming skills in SKILL, Perl, and Python (Python is a plus)
Solid fundamentals in software development
Experience with EMIR (RV), physical design verification (DRC/LVS/PEX/ERC), and waivers
