Tool Crib Attendant
Cynet Systems is a company seeking a Tool Crib Attendant responsible for receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking tools, equipment, materials, and supplies. Responsibilities
Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, supplies, and tools while maintaining accurate stock and tool crib records
Process and deliver receiving paperwork to the appropriate internal teams
Count, sort, and verify incoming items against requisitions or invoices and inspect materials for conformance to specifications
Store materials in designated bins, shelves, trays, or floor locations based on identifying information
Fill orders and issue supplies as required to support operations
Prepare periodic, special, and perpetual inventories of stock and tools, including scheduled inventory counts of tooling and assembly components
Requisition materials to maintain appropriate inventory levels
Mark identifying codes, figures, or labels on tools and materials
Compile reports related to stock usage, inventory adjustments, damaged materials, location changes, and shipment discrepancies
Determine appropriate storage methods, identification, and stock locations
Organize tools, verify all tool components, and ensure tools are processed, stored, and made available in a timely manner
Maintain records of tools and uniforms issued to and returned by employees
Compile and maintain all required paperwork and files within the stockroom and tool crib
Qualification
Required
Ability to perform physical activities including bending, reaching, lifting, and prolonged periods of sitting or standing
Ability to lift and move materials as required for the role
Willingness to work overtime, including occasional weekend shifts
Willingness to wear required personal protective equipment
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a manufacturing environment
Experience working in a manufacturing or stockroom environment
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
Experience operating material handling or power equipment
Familiarity with scanning equipment and internal inventory tracking systems
Experience using computerized shop floor tools
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and self-motivation
