Responsibilities

Lead a team of Java developers through the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade applications
Design and implement scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot) and integrate with Apache Kafka and MongoDB
Architect and execute cloud migration strategies (AWS/Azure/GCP), ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient solutions
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and other stakeholders for CI/CD implementation, performance optimization, and deployment
Establish coding standards, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers
Troubleshoot production issues and implement preventive solutions
Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum practices and participate in sprint planning and daily stand-ups

Required

8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
3+ years of hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming
Proficiency in MongoDB, including schema design, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including services like EC2, S3, Lambda, Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions
Solid understanding of cloud migration strategies and tools
Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

Cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Developer Associate)
Experience in event-driven architecture
Familiarity with Terraform, Helm, or similar IaC tools
Prior experience in leading cross-functional teams
