In Vitro Antibody Discovery Intern, Master's and PhD Students
AstraZeneca is seeking Master’s and PhD level students for a 12-week internship role in In Vitro Antibody Discovery. The role involves performing wet lab experiments and analyzing experimental results for presentations.

Responsibilities
Perform wet lab experiments (phage and yeast culture, ELISA, flow cytometry, etc.)
Analyze and organize experimental results using Prism, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc. for oral and poster presentations
Accurate and precise data capture using Signals ELN and Genedata Biologics
Qualification
Required
Master's and PhD level students majoring in Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or a related discipline
Candidates must have an expected graduation date after August 2026
Basic wet lab skills such as pipetting and reagent preparation are required
Proficiency in Prism and Microsoft Office tools, such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are required
Ability to report onsite to Gaithersburg, MD 3-5 days per week
US Work Authorization is required at time of application
Preferred
Previous hands-on experience of performing cell culture, ELISA, BLI, and flow cytometry are a plus
Familiarity with automation and high-throughput experiment set up is highly preferred
