Responsibilities
Able to accurately track and trace all shipments
Able to clearly identify urgency level, escalate, and provide alternative options for urgent shipments
Proactively maintain communication with clients on status of their shipments, as well as actively maintain and escalate communication with steamship lines and truckers
Coordinate the release of goods from the carrier, customs, or other governmental agency examinations that may be required and arrange and track delivery of goods
Qualification
Required
At least 1-3 years of prior Supply Chain/Transportation experience required
Ability to handle multiple, competing priorities, meet deadlines, manage risk, and resolve problems effectively and efficiently
Detail-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred
Bachelors Degree in Logistics
3PL experience is a plus
Thrive on providing excellent customer service, working as part of a team, and finding and recommending creative solutions to common problems
