Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring proper care and maintenance of endoscopes
Responsible for the routine ordering of supplies and maintaining par levels within the department
Performs Bravo pH study and capsule endoscopy and prepares reports related to these procedures for interpretation by M.D
Assists in performing complex ERCP and EUS procedures
Manages repairs and maintenance of endoscopes and acts as a resource for GI Lab technicians
Responsible for collecting data related to P.I. plans
Assists and coordinates the educational calendar for nurses and techs
Qualification
Required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Critical thinking skills
Problem-solving skills
Ability to collect and consolidate raw data and put statistical measures into place
BLS from American Heart Association
LA City Fire Card within 6 months of employment
2-Year Endoscopy Technician experience
Experience in supply management and computer literacy
Preferred
College Degree
