Responsibilities
Responsible for managing payment and change order requests. You will be working closely with our internal Procurement, Legal, and Accounts Payable teams and respond to work and budget requests from external consultants, including general contractors, project managers, cost managers, architects, and furniture vendors
Work with our internal cost manager to review and manage real estate project costs
Create and maintain reports/logs to reflect budgets, invoices, and committed costs; budget variances; cash flow projections; project contingencies, and contractual changes for individual projects
Manage the coordination of cost information across various internal systems
Responsible for conducting and maintaining project close-out documents
Assist with maintaining compliance by consistently applying company policies and procedures
Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables and analyzing data as required
Collaborate with the Project Manager and internal partner teams to improve the processing methods and systems over time to increase efficiencies
Build alignment and consensus, and have an effective and positive collaboration impact across teams to support the execution of project delivery strategies
Qualification
Required
Strong educational background with problem-solving and analytical skills (e.g., business, engineering, architecture, or related fields)
Exposure to the design and construction/Real Estate industry (internships, academic projects, or work experience)
Excellent analytical thinking, ability to track data, schedules, and resources effectively and problem-solving skillsets
Strong communication and collaboration, able to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Great attention to detail, time management, ability to act agile and flexibly and ability to respond to changing project needs
Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn, growth-oriented
Preferred
A few years of work experience in the design and construction industry/Corporate real estate industry
Familiarity with project management tools or software
Familiarity with construction industry terms and processes
Exposure to scheduling, budgeting, or risk management
