Responsibilities
Source and onboard technicians and subcontractors across all major trades
Build depth, not single points of failure
Actively fill coverage gaps in hard-to-serve or low-density markets
Vet vendors thoroughly: licenses, insurance, experience, responsiveness, pricing behavior
Negotiate and standardize rates, trip charges, and expectations
Maintain an organized, up-to-date vendor bench by trade and geography
Partner closely with Operations to support active work orders and new client rollouts
Remove poor-performing vendors quickly and replace them with better options
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or field services sourcing
Direct experience working with contractors/technicians, not just internal vendors
Strong understanding of how trades actually operate in the field
Comfortable making a high volume of calls, outreach, and follow-ups
Ability to evaluate pricing and spot red flags quickly
Organized, disciplined, and able to work independently
Preferred
An existing network of subcontractors or technicians you can bring or activate
Experience sourcing for multi-site or national programs
Experience filling hard markets (rural areas, secondary cities, urgent needs)
Background in facilities management, construction services, or field operations
