Retirement Plans ERISA Compliance, Manager
Charles Schwab is a leader in retirement plan services, providing third-party recordkeeping and administration to employers. The Retirement Plans ERISA Compliance Manager will ensure compliance with IRS and DOL regulations, perform complex compliance testing, and serve as a liaison with clients and auditors.

Responsibilities
Preparing ADP/ACP testing, Top Heavy testing, Coverage testing, 401(a)(4) Nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500 and Form 8955-SSA within the statutory timelines established by the code
Performing tests on the largest\most complex plans, and functioning as a primary liaison with ERISA Consulting, external clients and Relationship Managers for more complex ERISA Compliance testing issues
Assisting clients with preparation of allocations of employer contributions and specialized testing
Partnering closely with Relationship Management and other teams to assist with higher level client issues and to assist with external auditor requests
Serving as direct contact with plan sponsors and their external auditors to add value and retain clients
Leading efforts to improve, develop, implement training programs and procedures
Serving as a resource for less experienced staff and complete peer review of assigned work
Taking on additional project leadership responsibilities
Qualification
Required
4-7 years in the qualified retirement plan industry, with significant direct experience in providing ERISA Compliance testing and reporting services
Thorough knowledge of the IRS & DOL Code and Regulations, and experience with complex non-discrimination testing, including 401(a)(4), 410(b), and 414(s)
Excellent problem-solving skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, high comfort level with Microsoft Excel, and ability to meet stringent deadlines
Project Leadership
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Math or Finance
ASPPA QKA, QPA or CPC Designation
Experience with Actuarial Systems Corporation (ASC) Testing\5500 software
