Director of Sales - Publix Team
Making Moves Group empowers consumer packaged goods brands to succeed in the competitive landscape of retail. The Director of Sales - Publix Team will oversee sales operations, develop relationships with Publix stakeholders, and manage a high-performing sales team to drive growth within the Publix team.
Responsibilities
Oversee sales operations and lead the strategy for driving growth within the Publix team
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with Publix stakeholders
Identifying new business opportunities
Delivering exceptional account management
Managing a high-performing sales team
Aligning with internal and external partners
Implementing business development initiatives to meet and exceed sales targets
Qualification
Required
5+ years of CPG sales experience, including direct experience calling on Publix HQ
Must have Broker experience
Must be located near Lakeland, FL (Lakeland, Tampa, Orlando)
Proven expertise in Sales and Sales Operations, with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue goals
Strong Customer Service and relationship-building skills, with the ability to maintain a client-first approach
Experience in Team Management, including mentoring, coaching, and driving performance
Competence in Business Development, strategic planning, and identifying growth opportunities
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a remote environment and demonstrate self-motivation
Preferred
Familiarity with the consumer packaged goods industry and Publix market is highly desirable
Spins Satori knowledge is a plus along with the ability to mine data
