Co- Founder (Finance & Fundraising)
Swapop is an AI-powered marketplace built for Gen Z, seeking a Co-Founder with expertise in finance and fundraising to lead capital strategy and investor relations. The role involves shaping the company's financial growth, preparing for funding, and managing investor relationships while working closely with the Founder.
Responsibilities
Lead fundraising strategy across pre-seed and seed stages
Identify, approach, and manage relationships with angels, VCs, accelerators, and strategic investors
Prepare and refine pitch decks, financial narratives, and investor materials
Lead investor meetings, follow-ups, due diligence, and negotiations
Advise on valuation, dilution strategy, and fundraising structure
Build and own financial models, forecasts, and unit economics
Develop budgets, runway planning, and capital allocation strategies
Create clear financial projections aligned with product growth and traction
Prepare financial statements, reports, and metrics for investors and internal decision-making
Ensure financial discipline while supporting rapid experimentation and growth
Qualification
Required
Strong background in finance, fundraising, venture capital, or startup financial strategy
Proven experience raising funds or working directly with investors
Ability to build clear, credible financial models from early-stage assumptions
Strong storytelling skills to connect vision, traction, and numbers
Comfortable operating in an early-stage startup with ambiguity and ownership
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to commit 10–15 hours per week initially
