Responsibilities

Designing, maintaining, implementing, or improving electrical and mechanical equipment, facilities, components, or systems for data center operations
Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment
Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects
Responsible for providing organizational leadership and technical oversight to facility operations and maintenance teams
Ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, or customer requirements by coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support/testing activities
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies
Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials
Estimating material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation
Working with a variety of technicians
Engaged in final commissioning of facility to ensure required capabilities to meet customer requirements
Responsible for maintaining facility electrical and mechanical infrastructure in a newly constructed data center
Accountable for maintaining budget, identifying, justifying and implementing capital expenditures

Required

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
5+ years' experience as a chief engineer in operation and/or maintenance
Proven leader of Facility O&M teams
Ability to obtain a Top Secret/ SCI Counterintelligence (CI) or Full Scope (FS) polygraph pre-start
Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position
Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country
Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable
Employment is contingent on the candidate's ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country
The offer will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned
This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements
A final Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph Pre-Start is required
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
