The Engineering Intern will work on various projects that contribute to product innovation and improvement in the HVAC industry, utilizing CAD tools and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
Research & Development: The opportunity to work and contribute towards the innovation and improvement of products and processes in the HVAC industry
Provides ideas to improve products, services & processes
Use state of the art tools in our labs to work and improve skills
Effectively utilize CAD to create new designs, and improve existing ones
Create samples
Design prototypes
Contribute to design solution activity through utilization of previously learned skills with CAD tools, simulation tools, fundamental engineering principles, and coaching from team members
Analysis And Testing
Utilize MS Office Products
Perform various calculations and tests on projects to produce data analysis and interpretation
Assist in developing laboratory testing, interpreting data results, and recommending next steps
Fixture Builds: Perform various calculations and tests on projects to produce data analysis and interpretation
Administrative: Support the Engineering teams on various projects
Must be flexible as business opportunities develop and able to multi-task with other duties and projects when they become available
Actively follows and manages to our Process Based Leadership, Code of Conduct and our 5S+Safety Program
Track progress throughout assignment and provide a report out to Brazeway Leadership at end of assignment
Improve professional presence through working with cross-functional teams on various projects, presentations, and initiatives
Is willing to travel other Brazeway locations as needed – estimated to be
Qualification
Required
Working towards a bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Degree (preferably taken classes in Heat Transfer or Thermodynamics)
Experience using basic hand tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
The ability to interface with all levels of the organization and externally with customers and suppliers
A strong work ethic and a strong commitment to a team environment
Self-Motivated student with ability to juggle many tasks
Ability to draw conclusions and create reports and presentations - technical thinking ability
