Parks Medical Electronics is a long-established manufacturer of Doppler ultrasound systems, and they are seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee technical execution in design, development, and troubleshooting of their product line. This role involves leading engineering resources, ensuring compliance with medical device standards, and providing mentorship to junior engineers.

Responsibilities

Oversee the engineering and drafting departments

Lead and manage the activities of engineering resources in the development of new products. Work with management on the definition of product requirements for new products. Oversee new design and development. Ensure new design and development meets standards and regulatory requirements of Parks

Design analog/mixed-signal circuits for Doppler ultrasound systems (front-end, ADCs, amplifiers, beamforming)

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, firmware, and mechanical engineering

Ensure compliance with medical device standards (IEC 60601, ISO 13485)

Own schematic capture, PCB layout reviews, board bring-up, and verification testing

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers

Support design for manufacturing, reliability testing, and root cause analysis
