Account Manager

Postalloy® by Postle Industries, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Account Manager focused on building relationships and driving sales growth within assigned accounts. The role involves managing customer needs, generating quotes, and developing new accounts through various outreach methods.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary contact for assigned distributor and end-user accounts
Generate and follow up on quotes, purchase orders, and shipments
Prospect and develop new accounts through calls, email campaigns, and networking
Keep CRM updated with customer activity, contacts, and pipeline opportunities
Provide customers with basic product information and sales resources
Coordinate with TSMs for demos, technical training, and advanced support
Monitor competitor activity and report market insights
Participate in trade shows, distributor training, and promotional campaigns

Required

Entry-level role; 1–3 years of sales, account management, or customer service (industrial sales or distribution experience a plus)
Self-motivated, driven, and hungry to succeed in sales
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Willingness to learn technical product knowledge through coaching and training
Ability to travel 40%+ depending on territory

Preferred

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems preferred
Preferred but not required: welding experience, mechanical background, or education through technical trade schools
