Responsibilities

Lead design and development of press tooling, components, and machinery — from idea to implementation

Handle blank estimation, reverse engineering, prototype builds, and tooling optimization

Create factory and line layouts for scale-up, efficiency improvements, and new production concepts

Provide hands-on support during high-volume periods — you’re the go-to problem solver

Build and manage preventive + predictive maintenance programs

Keep the plant compliant with OSHA, environmental regulations, air permits, waste programs, and more

Influence plant quality, production processes, and cross-functional decision-making

Coach and mentor engineering staff; help shape a collaborative, high-performance team

Lead CapEx projects, contractor coordination, equipment installs, and facility upgrades

Provide on-call emergency support when the unexpected happens

Stay ahead of technology trends and equipment retrofits to keep the plant modern and efficient
