The role focuses on strategic framing, rapid analysis, and narrative development to support CMO-level decision-making.

Responsibilities
Develop clear, structured strategic narratives, frameworks, executive briefs, and storylines for senior leadership
Turn complex, ambiguous topics into concise, executive-ready insights
Create high-quality decks and materials that clarify thinking and guide leadership discussion
Conduct quick-turn research and analysis across market, competitive, customer, and product topics
Translate qualitative and quantitative analysis into insights, implications, and strategic options
Example use case: analyze a competitor’s new product narrative and rapidly produce a concise deck outlining implications and recommended responses
Partner closely with Marketing leadership to clarify portfolio strategy, audience strategy, positioning, and go-to-market priorities
Support the framing of long-term marketing direction, value propositions, and strategic priorities
Support the CMO and Chief of Staff in preparing for strategic planning and leadership discussions
Shape the strategic backbone of executive conversations
Create materials that drive alignment across leadership and accelerate decision-making
Qualification
Required
8–12 years of experience in management consulting, strategy, corporate strategy, business planning, chief of staff, or similar roles
Strong experience structuring complex problems and developing clear strategic frameworks
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — concise, structured, and executive-ready
Strong analytical skills across both qualitative and quantitative data
Proven experience working with senior executives in fast-paced environments
Ability to produce high-quality decks quickly and efficiently
Must be within a commutable distance to Milpitas, CA
Preferred
Background in MBB (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) strongly preferred; Big 4 (Deloitte, PwC) also considered for strong candidates
Experience in marketing strategy, GTM strategy, product marketing, competitive analysis, or portfolio strategy
Strong visual communication and storytelling capabilities
Engagement Manager–level experience or equivalent
