Responsibilities

Lead the preparation and interpretation of comprehensive financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, and regulatory requirements

Oversee corporate accounting functions such as general ledger reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable management, cost accounting, and accrual accounting to maintain precise financial records

Manage treasury functions including cash flow analysis, investment management, and risk mitigation strategies to optimize liquidity and financial stability

Conduct detailed risk analysis and develop strategies for risk management across financial operations, regulatory reporting, and compliance management

Drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes to support organizational growth objectives while controlling costs effectively

Ensure adherence to regulatory reporting standards such as ASC 606 revenue recognition guidelines and other governmental accounting requirements

Lead the development of financial reports that provide clear insights into profit & loss performance, cost control measures, and fiscal health for executive decision-making

Supervise audit processes with external auditors and ensure compliance with public accounting standards

Utilize advanced financial software tools for accurate account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and general ledger management

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on business development initiatives, investment opportunities, and financial services to enhance organizational value

Required

Proven experience in senior finance roles with a strong background in corporate finance, governmental accounting, non-profit accounting or public accounting environments

Extensive knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, and regulatory reporting requirements

Demonstrated expertise in risk analysis, risk management strategies, treasury management, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial planning

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively while fostering a collaborative environment focused on continuous improvement

Exceptional analytical skills with proficiency in financial report writing and interpretation to inform strategic decisions

Experience working with complex financial concepts such as profit & loss management, investment management, cost management and technical accounting practices

Familiarity with financial software systems used for bookkeeping, account analysis, balance sheet reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable processing and general ledger accounting is essential

Excellent communication skills to articulate complex financial information clearly across all levels of the organization
