They are seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer with project management experience to manage and support soil and groundwater investigation and remediation projects, while also developing new client relationships and maintaining high visibility in the marketplace.

Responsibilities
Support the development of new and existing clients and markets while cross-selling GEI’s other core business areas (e.g., permitting, water resources, ecological services, and engineering) to facilitate growth of GEI’s Minnesota offices
Maintain high visibility in the marketplace through regular client contact
Lead and participate on multi-disciplinary, multi-geographic project teams
Manage projects and tasks that support clients in the region with investigation and remediation of environmental conditions, environmental due diligence, environmental compliance and permitting
Prepare project correspondence, data reports, and work plans for internal and client review
Mentor and train staff
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Environmental Engineering or Geology; Masters preferred
5-15 years relevant experience
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, judgement, and problem-solving capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills
Seller-doer with strong regional connections and an entrepreneurial spirit
Preferred
Experience with environmental permitting and compliance, focusing on federal and state (Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan) environmental regulations is preferred
Experience with Wisconsin's Spill Law and Michigan Part 201 and Part 213 risk-based assessment and closure are a plus
Professional Engineer, Professional Geologist, and/or Certified Hydrogeologist is preferred
