Lithia & Driveway is a dealership seeking a Mobile Service Technician to perform automotive repairs and maintenance at customer locations. This role requires technical expertise and customer service skills to deliver high-quality service in a mobile environment, working independently and coordinating with service personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Travel to customer and on-site locations to perform scheduled maintenance, repairs, and warranty recall services

Perform work as outlined on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy in line with Lithia and manufacturer standards

Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform authorized repairs on-site

Be knowledgeable and skilled in performing all available warranty recalls remotely

Occasionally service multiple vehicles in one location and coordinate with external dealers/facilities to streamline repairs

Complete all work according to applicable safety requirements

Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work

Accurately record time spent on repairs using company time clocking procedures

Document work performed and test procedures/results using mobile service software

Maintain a clean and organized mobile service vehicle and inventory of tools

Ensure customer vehicles are returned as clean as they were prior to service

Communicate with parts department to ensure necessary parts are available before appointments

Assess vehicles for additional safety or service needs and communicate findings

Provide estimates and obtain customer authorization for additional work
