Oversee all financial operations of the university, including budgeting, financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Manage institutional investments, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Provide strategic guidance to support the university's long-term goals
Collaborate with executive leadership and various departments to enhance financial sustainability and operational efficiency, aligning financial strategies with Avila University's mission and vision

Required

Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance
Leadership and team management skills, including the ability to collaborate with varied stakeholders
Strategic planning and problem-solving skills to assess complex financial and operational challenges
Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying financial data to non-financial stakeholders
A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required
Proficiency in financial management software and other relevant tools

Preferred

A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred
Experience in higher education or nonprofit organizations is highly desirable
