Accounting Manager (CPA required)
Excela Protect is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing, high-performing team. This role involves leading the accounting team, overseeing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations while making a meaningful impact within the organization.

Responsibilities
Lead and develop the accounting team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management
Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness
Manage month-end and year-end close processes and related reporting
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable financial regulations
Evaluate, enhance, and implement accounting controls, systems, and procedures
Partner cross-functionally to support business growth and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business (required)
5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Demonstrated experience improving accounting controls, systems, and processes
Strong working knowledge of GAAP
Experience managing month-end and year-end close in a deadline-driven environment
