Responsibilities

Design, operate, and maintain enterprise servers, including specialty mainframe systems (IBM/LPARs), HPC, and hybrid/cloud environments to ensure optimal business operations

Research, implement, and sustain complex infrastructure solutions (e.g., data warehouses, IAM, event frameworks, containerization, and on-demand scaling) based on internal customer needs

Design and configure secure virtualized environments aligned with enterprise architecture—covering VMs, virtual networks, and distributed/high-speed storage (SAN, HDFS, SSD)

Engineer or enhance monitoring solutions to validate configuration, performance, and security posture; proactively detect and remediate issues

Monitor and optimize resource utilization (CPU, memory, storage, network) to prevent runaway costs and ensure capacity aligns with service-level expectations

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and plan future capacity, advising enterprise architecture teams with trends and recommendations for blueprint updates
