Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Java Software Engineer for a contract position. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying full-stack Java applications while ensuring seamless integration and system testing.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy full-stack Java applications using Angular, Spring Boot, and related technologies
Participate in integration planning and system testing, ensuring seamless delivery of APIs, web services, and database components
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement solutions following Agile methodology and SDLC best practices
Maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, Jenkins, and containerization tools like Docker/Kubernetes
Work on cloud-based development by integrating GCP services (BigQuery, DataFlow) and configuring infrastructure through Terraform
Support data workflows and MLOps cycles, including data extraction, model training, deployment, and re-training using Python and ML libraries

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive IT experience, including 3+ years in Angular and Spring Boot development

Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins) and experience with cloud platforms (GCP, PCF) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
