Akkodis is seeking an SDWAN Design Engineer for a contract with a client. The ideal candidate will design and implement resilient SD-WAN and enterprise network architectures while optimizing performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

Design and implement enterprise WAN and SD-WAN architectures to ensure high availability and scalability
Optimize network performance and resiliency through proactive monitoring and troubleshooting
Lead fault analysis and resolve complex LAN/WAN issues across distributed environments
Establish and enforce network security policies, access controls, and compliance standards
Collaborate with network architects to plan upgrades and modernize connectivity solutions
Manage configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 7–10 years in enterprise network engineering, with at least 3+ years in SD-WAN design and implementation
Proven expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and advanced troubleshooting using tools like SolarWinds/Wireshark
Strong experience in configuring and managing routers, switches, firewalls, and implementing network security policies

Preferred

Master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
