Akkodis is seeking an R&D Engineer II/Process Engineer II for a Contract with a client in Maple Grove MN. The role involves partnering with R&D to develop design specifications and drive innovative manufacturing processes while ensuring efficient product transfer into production.

Responsibilities

Partner with R&D to develop design specifications, draft test methods, and drive material selection
Provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) input and develop innovative processes, tooling, and automation
Lead process development and oversee development builds and initial production builds for new products
Assess process capabilities, implement improvements, and ensure efficient product transfer into production
Prepare and present technical data and recommendations to stakeholders to influence business decisions
Ensure compliance with quality system requirements through proper documentation and validation protocols

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related field)
2–4 years of experience in process development and product commercialization
Strong engineering fundamentals with proven ability to develop innovative solutions for processes and products
Demonstrated experience collaborating cross-functionally in a fast-paced, regulated environment
