Senior LevelSalve.Lab is seeking an Associate Technical Architect (Java) to design, build, and scale modern backend systems using Java and cloud-native architectures. The role involves collaborating closely with engineering teams to develop resilient backend services that support enterprise-scale platforms.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend microservices
Build and maintain services using Java (11/17/21) and Spring Boot
Design and develop RESTful APIs
Work extensively with AWS services including DynamoDB, S3, Lambda, IAM, and EKS
Ensure scalability, performance, and responsiveness of applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet technical and business requirements
Stay current with backend technologies and architectural best practices
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Java, with hands-on experience in Java 11 / 17 / 21
Solid understanding of microservices architecture using Spring & Spring Boot
Experience with AWS cloud services, especially DynamoDB and EKS
Hands-on experience with CI/CD and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub, Spinnaker)
Familiarity with Scala (and/or Python)
Experience with both NoSQL (DynamoDB) and relational databases
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
Experience with Docker, Kafka, Datadog
Experience deploying applications to AWS using EKS
Exposure to large-scale, distributed enterprise systems
