Commission, troubleshoot, and maintain standard and custom SEMI-GAS® gas delivery equipment
Train new equipment operators
Identify, analyze, and repair equipment failures
Order and install new components and parts as needed
Research and answer customer questions about product features
Determine and recommend stand-alone and integrated SEMI-GAS® products or services
Perform mechanical, electrical, and software equipment modifications and updates
Proactively respond to equipment issues to prevent costly production downtime
Interface with various equipment stakeholders
Respond to emergency calls as required
Maintain system and service records and reports
Occasionally work evenings and/or weekends as needed
Meet or exceed ultra-high purity and specialty gas industry safety standards
Meet or exceed site safety standards and company policies
Qualification
Required
Associate degree required
Minimum 4 - 6 years' experience in servicing ultra-high purity specialty gas equipment or equivalent related experience
Must be familiar with a variety of ultra-high purity and specialty gas industry concepts, practices, and procedures
A valid driver's license is required
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to wear safety equipment
Ability to sit, stand, walk, touch, see and hear
Ability to work in confined spaces and on ladders
Preferred
Bachelor degree in a technical field preferred
