Responsibilities
Coordinate project development activities between customers, internal staff, other agency oversight staff, and vendors/integrators
Participate in all aspects of project execution, develop and maintain project schedule, cost estimates, and overall coordination of the scope of work
Ensure project success by escalating issues and developing/recommending mitigation strategies and approaches
Communicate project status to a wide range of project stakeholders
Track all deliverables to completion and make recommendations for deliverable acceptance and payment
Qualification
Required
At least five (5) years of experience with moderate to complex projects involving coordinating work with external vendors and integrators
Successful project management experience limited to projects of small scope, limited risk and complexity and/or of short duration
Ability to manage projects under the direction of a State supervisor or manager
Capability to function effectively with very little supervision while maintaining a high professional standard
Experience in assisting in statewide project portfolio management and/or IT Investment Management
Ability to communicate project status to a wide range of project stakeholders
Experience in coordinating project development activities between customers, internal staff, other agency oversight staff, and vendors/integrators
Participation in all aspects of project execution, including developing and maintaining project schedule, cost estimates, and overall coordination of the scope of work
Ability to ensure project success by escalating issues and developing/recommending mitigation strategies and approaches
Experience in tracking all deliverables to completion and making recommendations for deliverable acceptance and payment
