Agile Execution: Deliver robust quality software (code reviewed, unit tested, detail design documents, well commented) to the planned schedule
Architectural Contributions: Own design and architecture on individual software components and/or subsystems
Documentation: Summarizes and presents details of designs in collaborative design reviews
Security and Compliance: Follows all Abbott software coding standards and processes
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline with 5+ years of experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of experience
Ability to come on site 5 days a week, San Diego office
Strong knowledge of micro services, RESTful, APIs, and Event-Driven Architectures
Proficiency in python 3.8
Hands on experience with containers and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes)
Hands on experience with both relational and non-relationship databases
Experience with Development environment: Ubuntu, Azure DevOps, Git
Good understanding of Authentication\Authorization and OAuth 2.0\Open ID Connect standards
