Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, students, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an educational environment

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for an educational location

Conduct regular and random patrols around the campus buildings and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns

Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel

Support access control procedures by monitoring entrances, verifying credentials, and assisting with visitor management as needed

Collaborate with campus staff and/or law enforcement as required to address security-related matters and maintain a welcoming atmosphere

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or other relevant information as directed by Allied Universal and site management
