Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate will design and build highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices deployed on Kubernetes in cloud environments.

Responsibilities

Design and develop highly scalable, fault-tolerant microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and reactive frameworks
Build and deploy next generation microservices in Kubernetes ecosystems on public cloud platforms like GCP or Azure
Architect cloud-native, distributed systems ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability
Implement comprehensive testing strategies using tools like JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality and maintainability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives and deliver innovative products
Optimize application performance and maintain clean code practices, including code reviews, documentation, and adherence to best practices

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field

Expert-level proficiency in Java and Spring Boot with hands-on experience in building reactive microservices deployed on Kubernetes
Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance tuning, and database design using SQL and NoSQL technologies
