New Grad, Entry LevelScalence L.L.C. is seeking a Cable /Data Center/Fiber optics Technician to support engineering activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and relocating equipment, installing cabling, and supporting engineering lab equipment.

Responsibilities
Perform daily activities as defined by management to support engineering
Performing software and hardware upgrades
Installation of coax, Ethernet, and fiber optics cabling
Building racks and installing equipment following rack elevation and wiring diagrams
Able to work in priority order as defined by management and project leads
Assist with lab moves as well as cleaning and organization efforts
Qualification
Required
Familiarity of Windows 10 and/or Linux
Ability to following instructions and published documentation
Familiarity with Client Office
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong customer service skills and time management
Ability to collaborate and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
A willingness to learn and be flexible with daily job assignments
Military communications, radar, electronics schooling
Associate degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology or similar, or equivalent work experience
Preferred
Basic understanding of TCP/IP including DNS and DHCP
Basic understanding of Widows and/or Linux OS systems
Formal electronics education via military or trade school
