Responsibilities

Architect and deliver enterprise-scale data solutions on AWS (Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
Lead large-scale data migrations and modernization projects from legacy/on-prem systems to AWS
Design robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data models (star/snowflake, Data Vault, etc.)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, analytics, business) to translate requirements into technical solutions
Implement best practices for data governance, security, and cost optimization
Mentor and guide engineering teams on cloud data architecture and DevOps automation

Required

10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or related roles
Deep hands-on expertise with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, S3, Lambda, EMR, Kinesis, etc.)
Strong experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms
Proven track record of leading data migrations and building cloud-native data solutions
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and real-time/streaming data pipelines
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred

AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, Data Analytics, etc.) are a plus
