Director of Growth
Rockstar is a fandom-powered wellness brand focused on creating functional powders for women. They are seeking a Director of Growth to build and manage their growth engine, focusing on performance marketing and channel economics while maintaining brand integrity.

Responsibilities
Own DTC revenue growth across paid channels (Meta, TikTok, Google, emerging platforms)
Set and manage budget, CAC, LTV, ROAS, and contribution margin targets
Build and execute testing roadmaps
Support launch and scaling of new eCommerce channels and margins, including Amazon and TikTok Shop
Personally manage paid media accounts in the early stages
Partner with Brand to brief, review, and iterate on performance creative
Develop creative testing frameworks across hooks, formats, creators, and messaging
Ensure performance creative stays on-brand and avoids generic wellness tropes
Own CRO across the Shopify site including landing pages, PDPs, bundles, and checkout
Launch and analyze experiments to improve conversion, AOV, and subscriber adoption
Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into site improvements
Own email and SMS strategy including flows, campaigns, and segmentation
Drive repeat purchase, subscription uptake, and LTV growth
Ensure lifecycle marketing feels editorial, intentional, and aligned with brand tone
Own growth-related P&L inputs including CAC and contribution margin
Build and maintain dashboards for acquisition, retention, and contribution margin
Manage external agencies and contractors as needed
Hire and develop internal growth team members as the company scales
Build repeatable processes and growth playbooks
Qualification
Required
5–10 years of experience in growth, performance marketing, or digital acquisition
Experience at a high-growth DTC brand, ideally in food, beverage, beauty, or lifestyle
Direct hands-on experience managing paid media and growth experiments
Direct experience with Shopify, and familiarity with Amazon
Experience owning or influencing growth-related P&L
Been early at a high-growth DTC brand and operated inside a serious growth engine
Personally managed paid media, testing roadmaps, and performance reporting
Worked closely with brand and creative teams and understand how to make creative perform without diluting the brand
Strong familiarity with Shopify and how site, merchandising, and growth intersect
Exposure to Amazon as a launch or growth channel
Highly analytical with strong business judgment
Comfortable inside ad platforms, dashboards, and experimentation tools
Strong creative instincts and ability to evaluate what will perform and why
Builder mentality with no ego around doing the work
Cares deeply about brand quality while driving performance
Takes ownership, moves fast, and follows through
