Responsibilities
Architect & Build: Design and maintain a Java-based automation framework using OOP best practices
Scale Testing: Write and execute sophisticated automated test cases using Selenium and Cucumber within a Spring environment
Collaborate: Partner with development teams to identify "testability" gaps and prioritize automation opportunities early in the SDLC
Peer Review: Participate in code reviews to ensure automation scripts are as maintainable and scalable as the production code they test
Solve Problems: Troubleshoot complex logic issues and debug framework-level challenges
Strategic QA: Identify high-value candidates for automation and document test scenarios for complex workflows
Qualification
Required
Java Prowess: You must be able to comfortably demonstrate deep knowledge of Java (OOP concepts, collections, exception handling, and logic)
Problem Solvers: Strong critical thinking and debugging skills are a must
U.S. Based: You must be located within the U.S.A. and authorized to work for any employer
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with a distributed team
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Preferred
4+ years of experience in software automation
Experience building or contributing to an automation framework from scratch
Familiarity with Data-Driven testing and complex XPath/CSS selectors
Exposure to Spring Boot or the Spring Framework
