Forms+Surfaces is a leading designer and manufacturer of architectural products used in public spaces. They are seeking a Business Development Manager – Site Products, focused on exterior architectural products, to build relationships with Landscape Architects and other specifiers while driving sales success.

Responsibilities

Strengthen product expertise and build relationships with Landscape Architect / Designer communities and other specifiers of products

Craft technical, 'substitution-proof' specifications and follow them throughout the bidding and ordering cycle

Offer creative solutions to specifiers' needs and concerns

Prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment

Utilize CRM software and other technologies effectively

Collaborate with team members throughout the organization - Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Design

Required

Experience with technical, design-oriented solutions

3-5 years demonstrated sales success in the A/D market with an emphasis on architectural interiors, wall cladding, glass, and/or exterior architectural solutions

Strong, experience-based understanding of the A&D community; proven success working with architects, contractors, landscape architects, facility owners, and other specifiers

The ability to craft technical, 'substitution-proof' specifications and follow them throughout the bidding and ordering cycle

In-depth knowledge of specifiers' needs, requirements, and concerns, and the ability to offer creative solutions to their challenges

The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment

Excellent communications and organizational skills

The ability to fully utilize our CRM software and other technologies

Enjoy working in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment and engaging team members throughout the organization - Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Design - to accomplish a common goal
