Office Specialist - Front Desk Floater (Mid Shift)
Davis Behavioral Health (DBH) is seeking a part-time Office Specialist - Front Desk Floater to join its Clinical Support team. The role involves greeting clients, gathering information, processing payments, and ensuring a welcoming environment for clients seeking treatment.

Responsibilities
Greet clients in a prompt, warm, and friendly manner
Gather client and insurance information efficiently and accurately
Request, collect, and process co-pays and other payments from clients at the time of service
Convey all necessary information related to the client's appointment
Work within DBH's electronic medical record system and have a working knowledge of HIPAA and other privacy laws
Answer telephones, screen calls, take messages, and provide information to the appropriate source, when necessary
Monitor the work area to ensure that it remains safe, secure, and well-maintained
Be knowledgeable about the crisis system and know when and how to activate it
All other duties as assigned related to the needs of the organization
Qualification
Required
High school diploma, or equivalent
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Must complete and maintain First Aid and CPR certification
All employees at DBH must successfully pass a pre-employment criminal background check as well as a pre-employment drug screening. Since Davis Behavioral Health works with Federal grants the company and its employees must comply with the Federal drug laws, including no use of medical marijuana
Preferred
Ability to provide exceptional customer service to DBH clients and employees
Proficiently utilize required systems and/or equipment related to performing essential functions of the job
Ability to work independently and effectively
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and clients
Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
Ability to maintain client confidentiality
