APEING Labs is building the next generation of on-chain trading and market intelligence infrastructure. They are seeking a Senior Blockchain Backend Engineer to design and build mission-critical backend services that power real-time trading and data aggregation across multiple on-chain environments.

Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable backend architectures for Web3 products
Build and maintain blockchain-native services with a focus on performance
Own data integrity, correctness, and fault tolerance
Collaborate with frontend, product, and infra teams to ship production systems
Make thoughtful tradeoffs between speed, safety, and scalability
Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code
Identify bottlenecks, failure modes, and long-term risks before they happen

Required

6+ years of backend engineering experience
Strong experience with blockchain / Web3 / DeFi systems
Deep understanding of backend fundamentals (APIs, databases, concurrency, caching)
Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems
Proficiency in one or more backend languages (Go, Rust, TypeScript, Python, etc.)
Experience working with cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines
Strong systems thinking and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience with Solana and/or EVM chains
Experience building indexers, data pipelines, or RPC services
Familiarity with trading systems or financial infrastructure
Security-first mindset (keys, secrets, access control)
Experience in early-stage or high-ownership environments
