Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of the Women Leadership Program, ensuring alignment with Accord Worldwide’s mission and strategic objectives
Develop and implement innovative learning courses and materials focused on enhancing women’s leadership in humanitarian and development settings
Engage and negotiate with various stakeholders, including government officials, local authorities, donors, and partners, to foster collaboration and support for the program
Monitor and evaluate the program’s impact, making necessary adjustments to strategies and approaches to maximize effectiveness
Manage a diverse team of professionals, fostering an inclusive and dynamic working environment that encourages growth and development
Qualification
Required
Master's Degree in Social Science Studies or other similar fields
A minimum of five years of substantial professional experience in humanitarian operations and learning course development
At least five years of extensive experience and exposure to humanitarian leadership practices, ideally participating in Humanitarian Country Teams or possessing familiarity with leadership structures in field operations
Profound knowledge of a broad range of humanitarian and development issues, with a minimum of two years of exposure to humanitarian and development operations and learning contexts
Specific expertise in advancing women in leadership within the humanitarian and development sectors, including strategies to strengthen operations, deliver assistance in access-constrained environments, and support human rights agendas
Exceptional leadership and team management skills
Strong negotiation and stakeholder engagement abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Innovative thinking with a strategic and analytical approach to problem-solving
Commitment to gender equality and empowering women in leadership roles
